I bought this G.E. disposal to replace my old disposal. I wanted to replace it with the same model, but also wanted to get a well rated disposal. It worked out great. I got one of the top five disposals and it was easy to install because it was the same size, etc. as my old G.E. disposal.

Function. Unit has rusted in only a year

This model disposal came with our new home. We have been in the home just one year and the surface of the disposal is heavily rusted restricting the blade action. We probably have to replace the unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was installed in my house a few months back in2016 and it works well. Haven't had to clean it out yet and has no smell so double thumbs up!
