It makes an awful sound. Hardly use it, don’t trust it to work.

I replaced my builders grade disposer with this big, heavy duty, G.E. I don't find the new one grinding up waste any faster or better than the cheap builders grade. It's loud, takes up a lot of room under the sink and I wouldn't buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy install?

I bought this to replace my 12 year old leaking disposal, I looked it up on line and found a dealer close by. It was more expensive than some but, it has a one HP motor. I looked at videos to see if the installation would be difficult. Although it said easy installation, it was a little more difficult than I expected. I called a neighbor for help today after I lubed the seal. It was easy then!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The best disposer on the market..! They never have the "clogging up" experience like the other types.. The ones that you can not remove the rubber splash guard always clogg up cause if how it it made.. Holes are to big and don't grind up food small enough before it leaves the grinding chamber.. Beleve me.. I've installed and replaced hundreds of them.. Thanks for a great product.. They are not the quietest but it does the job perfectly..!
