Defective and difficult to install

The unit might be a snap for a plumber to install, but don't try it as a DYI project. It is very difficult for two people, probably impossible for one. Once installed, it leaked internally with water coming out of the electrical connection compartment. We'll be returning it to the store for a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Read the instructions and do at least one dry run before crawling under the sink! Went together fine. Had to use plumbers putty and I am concerned that all three plumber putty brands said to not use the putty on plastic, which is exactly where it was needed (sink flange). Splash guard has a smaller opening than our previous disposall and caught my wife stuffing stuf into the disposall with her fingers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Garbage Disposal leaking

Garbage disposal leaking - . Worked for a while but then started leaking causing lots of headaches. Now needs a replacement which is super frustrating.

A POWERHOUSE DISPOSAL!

This disposal is a real powerhouse. It is solidly built and relatively quiet for a powerful disposal. I am VERY happy I chose this one after researching various brands and models quite a bit!
