VERY LOUD.. RIVITS DONT LAST

Model GFC320V New Home New install , Found disposal to be Super Loud . But didn't know any better till the rivets popped off and I found the Blade disconnected after 3 years of mild use .. Purchased late 2016 Rivets seem to be defective , after reviewing other complaints looks to be a common issue . Very Sad to find out 1 year warranty for this product . you would think Rivets should be made from a Higher Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice and compact, it took me about 30 minutes to take the old one out and put this one in. This was also my first time taking one out and putting one back in.

Rivets broke within 4 years

The rivets broke in 4 years of normal use. Very disappointed. I'm hoping we have a warranty for this.

came w/the house, only one would fit

I generally like it, but there's so many things that can't be placed. I also have to run it regularly, or it freezes, then have to run water for 30 seconds, or my drain clogs.

Last one lasted 10 years, hopefully this will be just as good. Bought a similar model so installation was a snap. (Same size, all the fittings matched up.)

I had a General Electric 1/3 Hp disposal for 16 years when it finally gave out. Replaced it with same size and model. Works great!
