Runs much quieter than the one it replaced and grinds very quickly. Instructions were complete and easy to understand making installation a breeze. I purchased a "cable clamp strain relief connector" since my old disposer didn't have one, otherwise all parts were included. This replaced a very old [16+ years] GE model that finally quit working. I'm confident this will last a long time too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install and great features

So easy to install, including the power cord (bought separately, but I knew that since the on-line manual told me, before I bought it!). Great features, especially lack of noise.

Unexpected lack of quality from GE. I compost so I rarely use the disposal, yet within 15 months, it seized up and stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
