VERY LOUD.. RIVITS DONT LAST

Model GFC320V New Home New install , Found disposal to be Super Loud . But didn't know any better till the rivets popped off and I found the Blade disconnected after 3 years of mild use .. Purchased late 2016 Rivets seem to be defective , after reviewing other complaints looks to be a common issue . Very Sad to find out 1 year warranty for this product . you would think Rivets should be made from a Higher Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Mediocre disposal

Not thrilled with this disposal. Causes the drain to. Run slow. Not enough power to provide good suction through the drain. This disposal was already installed in the new home we bought. It would not have been our choice.

So far we really like this disposal. My husband installed it himself with no problem. It is quiet and does the job well.

First unit was the same model but ten years old and stopped working. The new unit is quiet and relatively easy to install.

Its a good disposal unit; efficient and powerful. It is a bit noisier than others I have used, but not offensively so.
