This unit is smaller/quieter than the old one

I was in emergency need of a new garbage disposal but was also on a really tight budget. I started looking on the internet for an affordable/reliable replacement. When I found the GE unit within my price range I knew I was making the right choice. In all my years of dealing with GE products in other areas I knew I was getting a good product at a great price. What I didn't realize is that I was improving my sink greatly over the unit I took out. It takes up less space under the sink than the old one but is also alot quieter too. Anybody thats in need of a replacement disposal but is also in my situation of being tight on money will be making a great choice.

We replaced are old GE garbage disposal with this new one. It was fast and easy to install. Works excellent and is pretty quite when running.

s o easy to assemble this replaces a 10 year old model the only reason I'm replacing he old one is we put in a new sink so we wanted to update every thing

The installation instructions were poorly written. The nut screwdriver required would not fit into the area to loosen the screw because there wasn't enough space to get the head of the driver into the space allotted. Thus, I had to use needle nose pliers to loosen the screw.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
