This unit is smaller/quieter than the old one

I was in emergency need of a new garbage disposal but was also on a really tight budget. I started looking on the internet for an affordable/reliable replacement. When I found the GE unit within my price range I knew I was making the right choice. In all my years of dealing with GE products in other areas I knew I was getting a good product at a great price. What I didn't realize is that I was improving my sink greatly over the unit I took out. It takes up less space under the sink than the old one but is also alot quieter too. Anybody thats in need of a replacement disposal but is also in my situation of being tight on money will be making a great choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have recently installed this garbage disposal and it is working great so far. It was easily to install. I have owned this product for a week.

Cheap and fragile

Cheap, very fragile mounting studs. The two plastic studs that engage the quick disconnect ring are very fragile and shear off while tightening the ring. Too cheap of a design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good disposal for a good price

I've had this disposal for a few months now. It works well. My only issue is my sink seems to drain more slowly since it has been installed.
