I bought the product approximately one month ago and it has been excellent. It makes little or no noise at all while operating. GE has very good proucts and I know this disposal will last a long time.

Bought this a couple months ago for my husband to install for my mom. She loves it and says she can't believe how quiet it is. It gets regular light to moderate use and has been great.

WORKING OKAY, GIVING IT MORE TIME

THE DISPOSAL IS WORKING WELL. THE PROBLEM WE ARE HAVING IS THAT THE OPEINING INTO THE SINK SOMETIMES DOES NOT LET WATER/FOOD THROUGH. I USUALLY HAVE TO USE A UTENSIL TO PUSH THE FOOD DOWN OR TO OPEN WIDER FOR WATER TO DRAIN DOWN. NOT SURE IF THIS IS BECAUSE IT IS BRAND NEW, THAT IS WHY WE ARE GIVING IT SOME MORE TIME. IT ALSO ISN'T VERY QUIET, EVEN SOMETIMES GETTING QUITE LOUD AND SHAKING OUR ENTIRE SINK. OVERALL THOUGH FOR THE MONEY IT DOES ITS JOB.
