quiet and easy install

This unit is so soft when you turn on the switch and does a quick job to get rid of all the items in the sink. Recommend this unit to anyone looking for a disposal!

Great product for the price

I purchased this disposer to replace a 32-year old GE that was installed when the house was built. The old one gave us great service and I'm confident that the new one will as well. The operation is reasonably quiet and it works perfectly. Hopefully this disposer will provide another 30+ years of great service.

I replaced a common competitors disposer which began to leak due to rusted grinding bowl. The GE not only cost less than the same replacement but it runs quieter , smaller so it takes up less space, has a removable waste flange for cleaning, and galvanized steel guts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great low-price disposall

This was the lowest-priced disposer at my local home improvement store. It's plenty powerful and quiet, probably because of the plastic housing and flexy rubber mounting ring. Time will tell on durability of the plastic grinding chamber - at least it won't rust! GE's mounting system is excellent, fast and secure and allows for easy alignment to trap. Finish on stainless sink flange is very nice, especially for a low-price model. Only drawback is not in product, but in sparsity of wiring directions. First-timers would be well-advised to ask the home store electrical guys what they need and how to hook up. For replacement jobs or the experienced, should be no prob.
Overall, a best buy.

This unit is smaller and more compact than our previou model. It is very quiet when running and doesn't make my whole sink vibrate.
