Easy to install, although the previous one was a nightmare to remove because of excess plumber putty placed by the previous plumber resulting in having to saw off the sink flange
the power is good and the ease of installation was easy ,it grinds the food and the capacity of food taken is great .However i don't like how loud the disposal is.

We'd like to assist with your garbage disposal's sound level. If you're hearing loud noises (other than those during grinding of bones and fruit pits), make sure that no silverware, bottle cap or other foreign object has fallen into the disposer. If they have, please use long-handled tongs to remove the object. Additionally, be sure to let the water and the disposer run for approximately 25 seconds after the shredding stops. This assures all waste is thoroughly flushed through the trap and drain.
Product is nice and less noice. But installation took time as didn't come default wiring with plug. I had ended up taken out wire from existing erator and attached to new one.
Removal of the old disposal was a challenge but the new one was easy to install. I would recommend using plumbers putty to ensure no leaks. Thanks again
Easy to install. Directions are clear. I just installed it, but it is relatively quiet and seems to do a great job. Small footprint, and all the pieces I needed were in the box. I am replacing my old GE disposAll that lasted 20 years.
I've gone through 2 of these in almost 8 years! We've lived in our house for 7 1/2 years. The first one was installed by the builder and lasted about 3 years until the motor died. I replaced with the same model because it was the easiest option to reinstall. This one lasted until last week when the blades jammed and sheared off the center bolt they spin around! We're not putting bones or dense foods down there. Of course the warranty on this model is only 2 years. They want you to have to buy another! I'm not going to even let you get a 3rd strike GE. Done!

We want to help out with your disposer breaking down. We're going to have one of our agents get in touch over email. Please respond at your earliest convenience.
It was easy to install. It was my first time installing a garbage disposal. The rubber gasket was a little difficult but I did it. It recently froze up but I hit the reset button on the side and it's working again. Thanks
Had this installed in our new home with septic system. Very light use perhaps once every couple of weeks for 2-3 people. When it runs its seems efficient and quiet, however it has frozen up twice within the past year. First time we couldn’t get the motor to turn using recommended methods and reviewed some YouTube videos. Hired a plumber who was surprised to learn there isn’t way to try to manually turn it (like other disposals) by using a hex wrench. Plumber ended up taking the unit apart the first time to get it to turn and reinstalled until 2 months later it’s frozen up again. Appears to be rust in the disposal. We’re about 14 months into a new home (past warranty) and this is the only item which has failed us - twice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
