Even though it wasn't the highest priced disposal, it is very quiet. We haven't had it installed that long but so far we like it.

GE Disposal

Read instructions carefully to install. I had my plumber install and he did a great job, but really took his time to connect everything correctly. Not for an amateur. However, this disposal is quieter, has a deeper lower sound and is very efficient. The stopper is lower which allows the sink to fill up and pans are flat on sink bottom.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It works great but my only complaint it that it could be quieter, but I guess if you want a quieter one then you need to spend more money. Still for the cost it is a great disposal.

Easy install & operation

Bought this to replace a similar model that came with my house. Even though the old disposal was a different model, the connecters were the same. Wired the old cord to the new model, used a small car jack to hold it in place as I installed it (makes it even easier). Installed in 30 minutes. Hand tightened all the connecters - no leaks. Runs even quieter than my old mode. Great product for a great price.
