Easy install, if done properly

I installed this yesterday. It was very easy, with one minor exception. In the instructions it will tell you do not put too much pressure on the cushion mount when installing it on the sink flange. They are not kidding! Too much pressure will cause the mount to feel like it has seated properly, but it will be too high on the flange and will not allow enough movement for the mounting ring to engage with the top of the hopper. Pay attention and you will have an easy time. Once in, it is quiet and works quite well!

replaced ge disposer GFC320 1/3 hp
10 yr old no problems
galvanized parts rusted out this year not bad
motor still running strong
replaced with 1/2 hp even thou I never had a problem with 1/3 hp

We've had this new disposal for a month. It's a bit noisier than our last one, but works well. I really like that I can remove the rubber drain piece and actually clean in there and get stuff out if it falls in.

Replacement for a prior GE garbage disposal
