2nd one I bought because I didn't want to change the piping. The first lasted 3.5 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Runs smoothly

Easy to install. The only issue I had was knocking out the plastic plug. That took some time and strength, otherwise no problem. I’m just a home owner, not a plumber.
