This unit works better than the original unit we got with our house. It has jammed once (due to a popsicle stick! Kids, sheesh!) but is a bit quieter and we have had no trouble in the last 4-5 months since I installed it. Easy to install (the hard part is getting the OLD unit out!).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet, effective

Have been using for 2 weeks and am amazed at how quiet this unit is compared to the previous unit. Small diameter made for easier installation. Only complaint is that dishwasher inlet is right above disposer drain outlet. Would be more convenient when installing for the dishwasher inlet to be offset 45-90 degrees from the disposer drain outlet.
