It's OK. Sounds so weak & whiny that we are afraid to put much in it. But so far it hasn't failed to grind up anything we have put in it without clogging.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stupid easy install

It does what it is supposed to do. Grind food.
What really impressed me is the ease of installation. I have never installed or replaced a disposer before but this went really well.
