This is a really solid unit. I wish it was just a pinch quieter, but otherwise it works great and was easy to hook up.

RELIABLE & POWERFUL

I had the 1HP version installed in my old home in 2013 during a kitchen remodel. No issues with that one in the 5 years I owned it. When we moved into our new home in January of 2018 it did not have a disposal. I went with a 3/4 HP model as I had the expense of adding electricity under the sink for the disposal. So far so good seems as powerful as the more expensive 1HP model and so far no issues.
