What we really like about our garbage disposal, is that it we didn't realize it was on, because it runs so quietly. Impressive!!!

Expecting a quieter operation then the replaced GE 1/3hp but not by much. Low quality splash guard, permitted water to splash back, replaced with old splash guard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
