Over the years I've owned probably 5 heart monitors with transmitter strap & watch (Polar and Timex). I bought this transmitter strap to send HR data to my IPhone via Bluetooth and my Bontrager bike computer via Ant+. The device flawlessly with both at the same time.

Great product. Connects seemlessly with ELEMNT and also Garmin devices. Having ANT and Bluetooth and advantage. Battery lasts about a year and is easy to change with just a coin - no tiny screw drivers required

Quality HR monitor. Connectivity is good. Bluetooth connection has never dropped and connects quickly upon power up. I like the red/blue lights that indicate the unit is trying to connect. Battery life is at about 70 hours of use currently.

Good HRM strap

So far so good. I have over the years used probably about a dozen HRM straps. The securing mechanism (buttons on both sides) is a bit different and takes some getting used to, but it feels secure. Connecting is a breeze with the Wahoo trainer. Time will tell if it has longevity.

The casing is too thin and the pin is too tight that taking out the pin looks like it will break the casing of thre unit

Poor Accuracy

I had great hopes for this device but am very disappointed with results. It will occasionally work right and it usually starts the ride with what appears to be an accurate result and then will spike 40 - 50 beats per minute above actual. (I have stopped and check my actual rate a couple of times). I read a lot of things to try to fix the issue. Started with buying gel to get moisture as to get better conductivity of the strap. cleaning the strap by hand in the shower after every ride. Tried re positioning the strap in multiple areas to get better readings Lower / higher / to the side. I have also tried wearing cotton t-shirt while I ride as there were some reports that synthetic fabric may cause static that could interfere. last I tried replacing the battery in a basically new device and none of these seem to work.

Extremely Accurate, Nice Interface

I bought this a month ago and have been using it to track my HR during HIIT and steady state training, along with some strength sessions. It's way more accurate than my FitBit (although I love that too, but for different reasons). If you want an accurate measure of your HR this is the only way to go. It's pairs seamlessly with the iPhone app. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars, if that the only options on the app are running, treadmill, outdoor bike, and indoor bike...or something to those effects. I would love if there was an option for HIIT, strength/cross-training, etc. I don't think it really changes the core functionality of the product however...it is still tracking your heart rate accurately and in a nice interface, but those options would likely be well received. Great product at a super reasonable price. Definitely recommend.
