Simple monitor that works great (so far....3 weeks) and the Wahoo app is the simplest for basic heart rate and calorie burn readings.

Bought this to use in conjunction with my Wahoo speed and cadence sensor while on Zwift. Worked perfectly out of the box. Thank you!

It's a "Must-Have"

I wasn't going to get a heart rate monitor at first but after the first time using it I realized that it's a must have for serious training. Being able to monitor your heart rate for interval training is key to effective training.

USB & ANT+

I purchased Tickr to sense heart rate for a Wahoo Elemnt, a Garmin 310XT and, maybe my iPhone. With Elemnt and the 310XT, it performs flawlessly. I use the RidewithGPS app on my phone. When starting, it takes a bit of time for "searching" and "connecting" but it does work well. For long hikes where I am unconcerned with achieving a specific heart rate, the app with heart rate recording works well. If doing a heart rate specific dryland workout I need the 310XT. Elemnt and RidewithGPS both allow one to specify heart rate zones, however, Elemnt's first zone starts at zero so time not moving is, unfortunately, recorded as Zone 1. RidewithGPS filters these but Elemnt's Zone 1 is of limited value. The transmitter requires a firm snap when attaching the strap around the chest.

Good but difficult to pair.

I often have a lot of problem getting paired (Zwift or Sufferfest, MacBook Pro 2016), and get some drops. Also it is never clear if the sensor is ON or OFF.
