Useful for all my exercising
on December 6, 2018

I bought the TICKR about 3 weeks ago to find out what my heart rate is on the treadmill. I am 60 years old and found out I was exceeding my MHR, since then I was able to keep it within the 70-85% target rate. I also use it while weight lifting and during my balance ball ab exercises. I use it with a 3rd party app, Sportractive which keeps track of my minutes in different heart rate zones. We now have purchased one for my wife to use with her workouts.

This thing just works! It is so comfortable I totally forget I have it on - and the snap strap attachment is foolproof, easy, and a great idea!

Connects quickly but during activity it unbuttons itself because of the design. Competitive products from Garmin do not do this because the strap does not separate under the transmitter but on the side.

Just took out of the box and go to put on... Fumbled with it for 5 minutes as the snaps between the sensor and strap do not connect properly. Its almost like the button snaps are not designed for each other. I am definitely not happy about this,as the s

strap not as good as old one!

I have owned a tickr monitor for almost two years. I have encouraged others to also purchase because it was so easy to use with the apple watch. I recently purchased a new strap for my daughter. There are no problems with it connecting and working. The problem is the strap. It is different from my old one - I assume it should be an improvement. But it is constantly popping off. The snaps do not hold it together sufficiently. I am a small person so I know I am not putting a lot of stress on the strap. And I know I am not the only one having this issue. I recommended the tickr to my workout instructor and she has trouble keeping her strap on also!
