Disappointed but not sure of the cause

My partner and I bought one for each of us to use with our trainer (and for actual exercise). The problem we are having is the Bluetooth. Both of us have newer iPhones so compatibility should not be an issue. We are finding that our heart rate is not captured during our entire exercise. It seems they just periodically stop working and then work again. It's a bummer b/c sometimes we aren't even capturing the highest output moments of our workout. Knowing this information is vital to our planning and successful training. Wahoo warrantied one of the monitors (we didn't go through that process on the other yet) and the new one is doing the same thing. I don't know why we can't rely on it, but the bottom-line is we can't. :-(

My favorite HR monitor.

Since this is my third HR strap I can compare it to other brands that I have owned.
1. Best feature is ANT+ and Bluetooth.
2. Strap is very comfortable to wear.
I have used the HR monitor with my iPhone 5s and Garmin edge 500 and Garmin forerunner 25 without issues. The strap has very little plastic and isn't icy cold when I put it on. It stays in place when cycling.
When running I have had problems with the back sliding down and falling off at the end of my run. That was very annoying. My solution was using the adjustment to make the strap tighter next time.
I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter too.

Dose not work with Ant+ device

I wear it for every workout and I can't wait till I am finished to see how hard I pushed myself. It motivates me and I was very worried about wearing something tight around my chest..,truly surprised how you forget that you are wearing it! Thank you!!!

I use the monitor with Zwift and while it is finds it sometimes, it doesn't always. And I've never been able to get it to stay working thru a complete workout.
