Easy and convenient

After being diagnosed with Super Ventricular Tachicardia monitoring my heart rate be came critical. Wahoo was my second purchase and has give me the real time confidence my heart is not racing.

Reliable HRM at a great price

I bought this 2 years ago and I use it every time I ride my bike for fitness or racing.
It's a quality bit of kit, seems to be very accurate and consistent in the readings I get. I have read about some people having issues, but I hand rinse the strap frequently and always hang it up to dry after a workout and have never had any issues.
It did seem to freeze a couple of times, but I've found that it only happens if I am taking it easy (so not getting sweaty) and haven't first wet the electrodes - dampen your skin and the electrodes on the strap and you're good to go.
Another concern with some other cheaper straps is I have pectus excavatum (sunken chest) so there is a dip between my pecs which means it's hard to get consistent contact on some straps. With the Tickr I've had no such problems, it seems to sit comfortably and I always get a reading first time.
I've connected it to laptops and a Wahoo head unit and have never had any problems with those. My Garmin watch doesn't seem to see it to do HRV tracking, but that's the only thing I've struggled with.

Works great as a basic heart rate monitor.

I bought this heart rate monitor to use with my KICKR SNAP. Absolutely no problems connecting to my IPhone. It seems accurate although I haven't checked it against any other device except for a sports watch. Comfortable to wear. Easy to clean. I like the fact that it flashes when you first put it on so you know it is on.

Does not work work Apple Watch Series 3

This doesn't work with Apple Watch Series 3. I created a support issue and was told they would "look into it" so now I'm stuck with a useless device until they fix their firmware or get within Apple on a WatchOS fix.

When I first received the HR transmitter connection was easy. Now I have to remove battery and reinsert it to get it to sync with the app.

Works well, I bought it to use with zwift. The only problem I have; which is why I have it 4 stars instead of 5, is that I have to open the wahoo app to get the zwift through Apple TV to connect to the heart rate monitor. Other than that minor inconvenience I would still highly recommend it.
