I have used the Wahoo TICKR along with the speed/cadence meter and Reflk on my bike and LOVE them all. Best bike computer ever.

Great monitor

This is the second TICKR HR in the household and it is an excellent monitor at its price point. The latest edition was a gift for my husband and he has not complained about anything so I will take that as an endorsement that he is happy with its functioning and wear lol. He has tried some other HR monitors in the past and found them frustrating as they dropped connection and chewed through batteries rather quickly. He likes the fit and finds the strap comfortable. He appreciates having the light indicators to let him know the monitor is actually ready to pair. The accuracy and responsiveness is excellent.

Nice monitor, but the strap could be improved

The monitor works well: it maintains a stable connection to my iphone and C2 rower; it's accurate and appears to be a good value (if the included strap fits you). My only criticism is the strap's sizing. When the "standard" strap that came with my new Tickr is fully extended, it is a *very" snug fit for my 43" chest (belt stretches to close a 4" "gap"). Since it's at its longest length, I can't imaging someone with larger chest size (i.e., ≥ 44") being comfortable...despite the strap claim of adjusting up to "48 inches stretched". Wahoo sells an optional XL belt size for which the specs state: Minimum length: 44", Maximum length: 72". So although Wahoo offers 2 belt sizes, neither one seems designed to properly fit the 43"-46" range.

Great Belt great range of adjustment. Only knock against is that at least on mine the snaps could hold better. Have had them come unsnapped a couple of times. But that could be just mine. Still love it. My next cycling computer will probably be a Wahoo!!!

Very Good Heart Rate Monitor.

I bought the TICKR last year when I wanted to upgrade my old heart rate monitor and it's ran strong this whole year. I haven't even changed the battery yet. I really like how it has a blue flashing LED on one side and a red flashing LED on the other side. When you strap it on you "know" it is working when the blue light flashes. I think the red light represents your heart rate so you know everything is working. It is the quickest of my wahoo sensors to connect to my MAC and my GARMIN. The use of use and reassurance with the LED lights makes this the best heart rate monitor on the market.

These work great but i have had 2 and both broke .That is the metal push-fit fittings holding the sensor snap leaving it useless .The design must be changed ......
