Easy to use

Been using this device for the past few weeks. Easy to set up with the Wahoo Fitness app on my iPhone and validated heart rate readout with another heart rate monitor. I'm extremely happy with the accuracy of tracking my heart rate during spin class and on my road bike.

Works as you expect

Basically, you shouldn't have to think too much about a heart rate monitor - and this is one you don't have to think about. It just works well. I haven't used it outside yet but I've used it for a number of sessions on my trainer and its fine. It talks to my cheapo ant+ usb stick and it talks to my elemnt without issue. The strap is good quality too. It will definately last longer than my previous heart rate monitor from a different retailer.

Paired right away with Zwift and my Garmin 910XT

I bought this a few weeks ago because I was interested in one that transmitted both Bluetooth and ANT+. Zwift detected it right away as well as the Wahoo Fitness App. I was also able to pair it with my Garmin 910XT which was also a requirement for me. After 2 weeks using it 5 times a week, I've had zero drop-outs and I'm very pleased.

Inaccurate

The main problem is that the tickr for some reason will show on my Elemnt computer very high hr when I begin my bike ride. I really don't need inaccurate data that I have to edit for analysis. We are talking 190 bpm at rest. This has become more persistent and it takes about 5-10 minutes for the tickr to settle down. This is very annoying and makes me suspect that the data during the ride is also inaccurate - I hit 198 bpm on an all out effort. I am 55 yrs old and haven't topped 191 in years. Tried wahoo support but all they did was refer me to dcrainmakers website. I'm dissatisfied because I believe the tickr has flaws that can't be fixed. Wahoo needs to first admit there is a problem before they can fix it.

Been using for 2 weeks and am very happy with this unit because it connects to my phone apps and or my Garmin watch/bike computer. Just took a little time to adjust to the snap connect on the belt.

Perfect for cycling

This product is great for cycling. I use it for power training on the road, in the mountain or on the kickr. I havent had an issues with it to date. It doesnt work so great for training off the bicycle off the bike however. I would recommend getting an upgarde of this one if you plan to use it for more than just cycling. It is super easy to connect to the wahoo app. It is worth having if your main sport is cycling.

I have had this a month now and am very happy with it. It is comfortable and reliable. It has never cut out on me, unlike other brands I have had.
