Reliable

I bought this about a month ago and have been very satisfied with it. Ive had heart by-pass surgery so I like to keep track of of my heart rate. I've cross refenced the readings and it's appears accurate. Most of all it provides readings all the time once strapped on. I have another well known name brand HRM and its fickly in providing readings. I have to use a coupler to ensure it reads whereas with the TICKR I haven't had to do that yet. I like the apps also.

Nothing outstanding. Largely accurate results, light weight product. Nike run+ crashes since using this (not sure if this is related however)

Accurate BPM with limited data

I purchased Tickr to track BPM more for health than for fitness. My boyfriend had a-fib and his heart rate was all over the place. We needed a reliable monitor to get a handle on his heart rate. Tickr provided that valuable data. We did find that Tickr had a hard time finding his heart rate while on beta blockers. Tickr picked my heart rate up immediately, but it took several tries to get his. I use it for other activities such as walking and workouts. The only disappointing thing is that it doesn't store data to sync. You need to have your phone close by. If you want a monitor that stores and syncs, you need to get another model.

The heart rate monitor works perfectly however I get a rash from the strap whether you wear it firm or loose. The material either side of the pressure pads needs to be softer.

Wahoo TICKR works great

I synced it to MapMyRide and t worked great. It is comfortable and fairly easy to use. The directions at startup could use some work as to explain a few things. Maybe an on off switch to conserve power. Having said that, in two years if battery is still working on it, maybe i wont care as it cycles off soon enough.
