ICE Maker quits after 3 years

Just like many of the other reviews, this refrigerator has a major design flaw. Our icemaker stopped working suddenly and I called a repair person out. He was on the phone with Whirlpool and they determined that the wire had broken inside the door. Only option is to replace the door. The refrigerator is only 3 years old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent product. Replaced the plastic hose with braided line…perfect. Well packaged. Easy to adjust doors. Level the whole unit both front and back….need to do it.. Roomy and efficient. Very nice product.

Water dispenser does not work

The depth and the size of the fridge is what I needed. I like that the fridge feels sturdy and not cheaply made. There is a serious design flaw, however, because the water dispenser does not work. It just stops working after a few months. I’ve had it serviced and it happened again.
Very unhappy with the number of serivce calls I’ve needed to make for this new fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
