Inferior Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Disappointed in the quality of the interior. The drawers feel like cheap plastic and are hard to open. Same with the butter keeper. And the exterior doors don't align. One is noticeably higher than the other. Expected much better quality from Kitchen Aid.

Great Design, expensive to maintain

Bought this model in 2014, it has had to be serviced at least once a year for frost build up. The thermostat (thermoister?) does not hold up. Very expensive to maintain!

Side by side vs French door

Don’t Buy Kitchenaid

Once you buy your on your own. My ice maker broke after 3 months. 3 calls to Kitchenaid with NO service call yet. They say they don’t have service repair in Bay Area in California, if you can believe that! New stove also delivered broken, convection doesn’t work. Same worthless response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Broken ice/water machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the refrigerator for about a month (it was delivered and installed by a company) and the water and ice maker suddenly stopped working. Not sure if it’s a fluke but it should not be happening when it’s this new. The customer service through online chat was not ideal when trying to troubleshoot the issue. Still unresolved and not working. Otherwise happy with this model but they are certainly not built like they used to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We saw this refrigerator, and my wife was Oh so inspired she just had to have it. This is our second KitchenAid frig. So the quality was second thought, she loves the new feature enhancement that came with this one. So, we are very pleased.
