Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are a replacing a 22 year old Kitchenaid refrigerator like for like. The first unit delivered had issues after 3 days..after it could not be repaired on first visit decided to return it…the next unit that arrived has an external issue and hopefully will be repaired today
The door could use 1-2 more shelves. The drawers feel chintzy and not of good quality…
I might add the literature delivered with it leaves a lot to be desired too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement for my 7 year old Kitchenaid fridg

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy this refrigerator to fit with the rest of my kitchen appliances in my new home. Very disappointed that my 7 years old refrigerator died. The drawers do not work very well.

Great lighting inside both units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day we had the fridge it wouldn’t pour water into a glass. We also tried to get ice cubes and that didn’t work. Called for service and found out that the water was frozen in the tube. The ice maker had a broken part so it wouldn’t work either.
The bins in the fridge and freezer are not very big. Little room in them.

I purchased this refrigerator to replace a 17 year old KitchenAid model that was starting to have some issues cooling. I really liked my old one, so I put in the garage for a second fridge. After receiving the new one, it just couldn't compare to the old one. Weird noises, some issues with the water and ice maker and it just felt cheap compared to our 17 year old model. Drawers were very cheap, the new sliding mechanisms were not smooth at all. So back to the store it went, and my 17 year old refrigerator is back in it's old spot. Come on KitchenAid, you can do better. We are waiting for new models to come out to see if they start to make a decent product again, or are even capable anymore. Very disappointed.

Nice but a bit small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are happy with this unit but on reflection, we had the space and should have looked for a wider/larger unit. We are in the process of buying an extra shelf for the freezer and another refrig door bucket as there is space that could be used for condiments. I hope this KA lasts longer than the .... we had.

Perfectly functional and attractive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy that I purchased a Kitchenaide side by side refrigerator. Having ice is paramount! I have limited space and the counter depth design is perfect. I have followed recommendations about placement of milk and produce, and I have to say that my produce seems to stay longer than in my previous refrigerator. I’m not thrilled about the drawer design, but overall I love my purchase!
