Disappointing quality product- avoid

We got this as part of our appliance package from the builder. Overall very disappointed with the quality for the month we had it. the shelves are very plasticy and tough to get in and out, i dont think it will last too long . The quality is subpar. Also new fridge has a bunch of scuffs and discoloration. We are now waiting for them to replace the fridge. their customer service is horrible as one has to wait for 1 hour to get to a person and service tech schedule for minor issues is close to a month. We are so frustrated with it that we plan to buy a new fridge and move this junk to the garage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best investment to date

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this fridge has more than met our expectations especially after a power outage! It even ask me to CONFIRM that there was one!! Great lighting inside and runs quietly! It hopefully will show power savings on our next bill compared to our GE Monogram built in!!

Almost great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new Kitchen-Aid refrigerator is almost great! To achieve greatness, it would need to do two things:
(1) Have the lowest storage drawer in the refrigerator section slide all the way in so it is flush with the two higher drawer fronts. It doesn't fit correctly and I suspect that when I get some time (new home, y'know?) I will be able to figure out what is causing the misfit. But right now it annoys me every time I open the fridge door.
(2) It needs to stop trying to escape? It persists in rolling forward out of its home and toward the center of the room. I push it back. It sneaks out again. I tried putting a wedge under one front corner...it pushed the wedge out, too!

Very happy with my new fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our similar kitchenaid died we opted for the similar replacement and this one has some nice improvements. I love that the water dispenser continues when the fridge door is open! The finish is nicer too - much easier to clean and keep smudge free. I like the bar handles too - very sleek and modern looking. I thought I'd like the included wine rack, but it takes up too much room on the top shelf - still, if needed I have it. Overall a very nice looking and functional appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Though it took 6 mo. to arrive, the instillation was smooth and all functions are in order. The only question: need more information about the display screen and how to adjust temp,ice production, etc.,which are not in the Owner's Manual.

Overall good refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I think the refrigerator is quite good. The Filtered Ice and water are easy to retrieve using the door dispenser. The refrigerator side is a bit small. The only thing that I don't like about it so far is that the drawers seem cheaply made. The cooling power is outstanding. The ice is at 0°F which makes for an excellent beverage experience. The lighting inside the refrigerator is also excellent. So, better drawers with a bit more space would make this would be the perfect refrigerator.

Great fringe could come with more shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bougth this three weeks ago, very happy with it. I bought additional shelves (three slots available as purchased for moving shelves to I found that my best use of space was for me to add shelves.(2 in freezer, on in refridge).
