Worth the Wait

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered the refrigerator in November 2021, and it was delivered on Sept 26, 2022. It was a long wait; but worth it. It looks good and runs great. KitchenAid take it easy on the plastic shipping wrap. It took well over an hour to remove it all the seams and tight places.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted to go back to a side by side...this is not the perfect fridge! There are a couple of things we don't like now that its plugged in, like the amount of noise it makes when filling up the water for the ice feature. The drawers don't feel smooth at all since they appear to ride on plastic rails without any type of rollers. The left side door (fridge side) could use an extra shelf since there is a huge gap even when configured as evenly as possible. Hope it last 10 years or more !?

So far, so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 2 weeks ago and so far so good. I replaced a KitchenAid full size that I've had for 15 years. We are an empty nest so figured we could downsize a bit. So far its plenty big enough. Getting used to the smaller drawers seems to be the biggest hurdle. Also, I wish it had more shelves in the door. There's lots of empty space there that could be usable. Loving the counter depth as it doesn't protrude out like the old one did.

Great look, nice and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the refrigerator for it's specs - great compromise on the unit being small from an external dimension standpoint while still having a good deal of space internally. The only reason why I've given this a rating of 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the build quality. There are some places where the insulating material used (seems like some sort of expansion foam like material) is exposed and wasn't really cleaned up well, including a small spot on the edge of the door where it has tarnished the finish a tiny bit. The internal assembly around what seems to be the water chiller in the fridge portion also seems poorly assembled as it was making it difficult to get a drawer/shelf locked in place and it required some physical convincing to get it locked in. Again, seems like an issue of poor assembly as removal of an interior panel showed that there was a wire harness squashed between the insulating material and the panel, causing it to ever so slightly bulge out, preventing the shelf from locking in place.

Nice Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It looks nice and keeps food cold just fine. It's not very big. The drawers don't pull in and out very smoothly. They're not on runners, so it's just rough...like old drawers. It's very attractive and looks like a qualilty refrigerator. In my previous house I had a subzero, so maybe spoiled. The ice is very nice...small cubes and works really well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] but a few things have tripped us up as they seem much more flimsy than we'd expected from KitchenAid. Little things (like the metal tray under the water dispenser rusting) but when even the teens notice and ask why we went to all the trouble of getting this one... Thankfully it cleans off easily and generally runs well (and I get to teach said teens about maintenance). I like that it's easy to rearrange for organization and is generally just a simple functional fridge.
