[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this despite some negative reviews and feedback because it was one of the few available refrigerators that met our timeline. As reviewed by many, the water line that feeds the ice maker and water distributor does not work consistently. It froze the first week that we had the refrigerator, and then worked for about a month, and is of not working again. We owned GE previously and liked that unit better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read numerous reviews. I must say, I agree with the majority that the fridge needs more shelves and bins. Having to order extra is not ideal. Cant give 5 stars when I’m ordering more parts. My old fridge didn’t run all the time. The new one does. I can say it turned off for about 2 minutes once. Haven’t seen my electric bill yet. I will put a meter on the fridge to see actual usage.

Drawers do not slide well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great refrigerator. We have one complaint and that is the drawers don't slide well and appear "cheap." We feel that they will crack or stop working at some point - long before the refrigerator will be ready for replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago. A few hitches. A plastic cover that no one knows where it goes including salesperson and Kitchenaid. Periodically makes a strange noise for a half a minute. A couple of small dings on the door. Ice machine takes awhile to make ice. Other than that the refrigerator is quiet, efficient, great lighting. Shelves could be sturdier.

My produce stays fresh for so much longer, leftovers last and dairy refuses to go off. I have recommended (and will continue to do so) this fridge to anyone who will listen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased it as replacement to another Kitchen Aid side-by-side, so we’re used to the pros and cons of this style of refrigerator. The fridge interior feels larger than the previous one, not sure if that’s the effect of the brighter LED lights.
Configuration of shelving is pretty much identical to the older model we had.
Ice maker is a big improvement from before. They are smaller, cube size ice cubes (previously it was moon shaped, fairly long so one needs to adjust the ice cube in order to fit into narrower openings of water bottles. Spot for water dispensing is also wider, should be able to sit an average size coffee mug and use the pre-dispensing water features. However the metal tray in water dispensing shelf is very sharp (underneath feels like a cheese grater).
I really enjoy it is a true fingerprint proof finish!

Review on my fridge-freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge with hopes it will be as good as my old KitchenAid one that I had for 11 years without having any problems. I was very upset, that from day one the freezer side was not working at all and the fridge side was so cold that my vegetables almost froze. I contacted the store where I have bought it and they gave me a new fridge. Now this one is working fine. My only complaints are, that the drawers are not telescopic and when heavy , hard to move and I think there should be 1 more shelf in freezer side, 1 more in fridge side and 1 more door bin in fridge side. I bought them all separately and they were very expensive. For such an expensive fridge it should include more shelfs and bin and the prices for having to buy extra should not be so high. Otherwise I am very happy with the fridge!
