[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything except the Egg carton holder. My old KItchenaid refrigerator would hold a 12 egg carton on its side and another laying flat. This redesign made the edges curved and will no longer allow it to hold 2 cartons. Stupid redesign IMHO. I have to use all 12 eggs before buying another dozen. Who does that?

Comes as close as possible to "Built in" look.

We got this fridge about one and a half years ago because it came as close as possible to the "built in" look without spending 10k on a "built in" fridge. It was one of the few ones that is truly "counter-deep". A lot of so called counter-depth fridges will still stick out a few inches from the cabinets, even more so if you can't hollow out the wall behind it for the water supply line, which was the case for us. This one was less deep than other counter depth fridges but it is taller than standard ones, which gives it a more elegant look. Because we could not hollow out the wall behind it for the supply line it is still sticking out a little bit from the cabinets and you can see the sides. Thankfully the sides are grey (rather than the usual black) and blend in with the stainless steel color. The fridge has plenty of room for our 2 person household. The only issue that I have with it is that the temperature of the dispensed water is warm when I dispense more than a coup or two. I subtracted a star for that but overall I 'm still very happy with my purchase. The photos show the fridge with Ikea cabinets.

A bit disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new refrigerator replaces our last Ktchenaid model. The good news is that the last one lasted over 15 years before the compressor died. The not as good news about the new one starts with handles that don't match our existing suite of Kitchenaid appliances that have arced handles, nor the cabinet pulls that are also arced to match the appliances. Inside, the lower accessory for holding beverage cans is gone and both freezer and refrigerator capacity is smaller despite being the same overall size as the previous model. While we like the new stainless steel finish, it is a bit darker than all our other Kitchenaid appliances.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this high speed low drag fridge July of 2020, ice maker quit working in March of 2021. After trying to fix for several months KitchenAide decided to just give me a new fridge. After 8-9 weeks new fridge shows up but with large dents. KitchenAide sends another new fridge 2 weeks later and after less than one days use, the l/h upper door hinge pin came out allowing the door to fall off (luckily it was me opening, wife could not have caught the door and held it in place to replace pin). Week later service tech showed up and semi fixed until new hinge could be obtained. A week after that service tech came back and replaced hinge. So far everything works and Kitchenaid was gracious enough to give me extended warranty for all of the trouble I've had. Because of the exemplary customer service, safety department and service technician, they get a 3. If not for that would have gotten a -2.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
