[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were worried that it would not be as useful as the french door fridge we gave up due to volume decrease in fridge side. Far from it, the use of door shelving and layout make it much easier to organize and see all in your fridge! love it. Alo the freezer is much nicer because you can see everything instead of digging though the bottom to find it. Exterior styling is very nice. It shows like a 3-4000 fridge!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Broke After 2 Months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 2 months of having it, the freezer randomly stops cooling, and everything started to melt. Not recommended for those who actually need to have some sense of reliability in their refrigerator/freezer unit.

Still a piece of JUNK after 5 service calls!!!!

I am 5 service calls in now with this refrigerator for the same issues and KitchenAide will NOT stand behind their product. Will not replace it even though it is a lemon. All starting in less than 2 months old. Repeated service calls since April and all they can say is sorry for your troubles and we would like to help you but yet they don't. Thrown away so much food that has spoiled and taking off a lot of time from work for the service calls. KitchenAide step up and do the right thing. Why would you want to continue to put a customer through more frustrations? Now after talking to more people, the common theme is this is how KitchenAide handles service issues...they dont. They take your money and leave you with an appliance that does not work. Wish I had read the reviews before buying this. Very very sad. Future buyers beware!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really top quality refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had our Kitchenaid refrigerator since our old one died early in COVID times. The quality is really obvious in the weight of the components and smooth operations. We thought we did not want a door with water and ice on it because of all the problems with previous other brand appliances, but this one has worked nearly perfectly. The only minor issue is that you do want to use the water or ice on order of once a day as we had the ice cube refiller lines freeze once (and only once) when we were not using it every day. However that has not repeated even when we went on holiday for 10 days and don't know the frequency that our house sitter used it. Kitchenaid said if the problem ever recurred they would replace the door but happily that has not happened again. One cool feature is the water that comes out of the door is a drinkable temperature which encourages more water drinking around our place (never a bad thing). One great aspect is that we have definitely noticed an improvement in how long food keeps in this fridge relative to our past one which I think is a function of the airflow and cooling system. We were also pleased to discover the sides of the fridge are metal but not stainless and so magnets stick thus our holiday magnets still have a home; perhaps not a concern for all households. Overall really love the fridge and its quality.

Nice Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 10 months ago and overall satisfied however the door hinge broke causing the door to swing open too wide and it is not level with the surrounding cabinets. The repair service was prompt to fix the door but not able to level the back legs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice frig. Like the ice and water features. Did order extra shelves for door, frig, and freezer. Pricey. Outside dimensions are more than our 29 year old frig but interior is smaller. Common complaint about many brands - the refrigerator side door swings too wide. Check out Houzz for various solutions.
