Gorgeous Kitchen Aid Frig

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Side by side design for a beautiful and freezer compartment for water and ice is chic. Wine rack inside is novel and space is excellent. Only thing I’d Chu Meg is the quality of the drawers. Need to be sturdier but it a wonderful design and product.

Amazing refrigerator and freezer

Not as Good as We Hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the refrigerator in December with a promised 13 Jan delivery. On 12 Jan we were told it would not arrive until 23 Jan. OK, we received it on the 23rd, just 10 days late. It looks beautiful! But on 8 Feb the water stopped pumping - no more water dispensed, no more ice made. We anxiously await a repairman tomorrow to fix the problem.
Sadly, KitchenAid does not make a soda shelf for this line. The wine holder does not make up for this.
Another issue is we cannot level the refrigerator - it only has leveling feet on the front, and they do not account for the tile in the back. Leveling the front makes the refrigerator rock because the back wheel is off the floor. We have to experiment with shims behind the refrigerator.
Finally, the refrigerator doesn't hold the 37 deg setting displayed on the door. We have measured the temp at 34 deg at the wine shelf (too cold for wine), and 30 deg at the bottom shelf. No wonder our veggies are freezing. We hope the repairman can recalibrate this tomorrow.
We love the refrigerator, but until the problems are fixed we can't recommend this to our friends.

Exceptional!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the KitchenAid refrigerator recently to replace a GE Profile side by side that after 5 years was deemed a lemon. I am amazed at the difference in quality, performance and appearance from the GE refrigerator. It is a counter-depth model so it is not as spacious as a full size refrigerator, but compared to the GE it is so much more spacious - especially in the freezer section. And I love the LED lighting inside and the fingerprint proof finish. It is a bit pricey but “you get what you pay for” and this is worth it.
