Beautiful inside and out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 30 year old Whirpool refrigerator that never had a problem and I'm very glad I did. This KitchenAid Counter Depth Side-by-Side is truly beautiful to look a t and the interior lighting is spectbaular. My old refrigerator was very quiet but this new one is absolutely silent. I honestly can hear it when the doors are closed. The shelf layout is almost identical to my old one so my adjustment was easy. Overall I couldn't be happier so I decided to write my first appliance review.

LOVE this Fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the style, counter depth, and finishings on this fridge. We had it for 4 days however and the ice and water dispensers stopped working. We now have a warranty call in so hopefully that is an easy fix. We trouble shooted all we could.

They both have similar features but the Kitchen Aid had better quality shelving ang drawers. I hope that the system components are better since the Kitchen Aid was considerably more expensive. Time will tell.

Beautiful on the outside, inside needs improvement

We purchased this fridge as part of a kitchen remodel to get counter depth and stainless steel, my wife was so happy with our old Kitchenaid appliances that she would not consider any other brand. We are keeping our original Kitchenaid fridge (which we loved) as an extra fridge/freezer for the basement as it was such a great fridge. The outside of this new fridge is beautiful, the handles are sturdy, door hinges are great, water/ice controls are intuitive. The inside is not the same quality, the drawers feel cheep and do not slide very well our 12 year old Kitchenaid side by side drawers and shelves are multiple times better quality. The fridge door need at least one (if not two more shelves) and to be honest they do not feel like they will hold even 1/4 of the weight of the door shelves in our older model. Fortunately we have the old fridge to keep our bulky / heavy items so we will not need to test the load capacity or strength of the shelves in the new fridge. We would like to see Kitchenaid sell additional door shelves (or include at least one more with the fridge purchase.

Convenient and saving us money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the fridge is beautiful and a classic design. We were very apprehensive about downsizing with our family. However we can actually see everything in the refrigerator or freezer at a glance. No longer do things get hidden and ultimately tossed out, so we are wasting so much less. It also forces us to budget our space, and therefore saves us money. Really, we couldn’t be happier overall
