Loud grinding noises constantly, very annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator is definitely defective, called for one repair in the first 2 weeks, tech says all the grinding noise and fan blade noise is normal, can not enjoy watching TV anymore with the noise this refrigerator puts out. Very disappointed. We’ve owned for about one month and can not stand it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first refrigerator had a broken support for one of the shelves in the freezer. Unit was replaced but it was a hassle. Second refrigerator quit working after two weeks and it took two weeks to have a repair person out and another week for parts. Right now the refrigerator is working but time will tell. Repair person got it working but could not find the problem. We hope it continues to work. Never buy one again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my fridge in February and absolutely LOVE IT! I’m addicted to Kitchen Aid appliances. Over the years I’ve had two. For me it’s all the FEATURES, DESIGN and SPACE! It’s super important for organization! I’m a family of five and don’t like clutter, with how spacious the fridge is it allows you to keep everything neat and clean. I can’t forget the bright lighting on the inside and touch screen setting panel which is definitely a plus! You can’t go wrong with selecting a KITCHEN AID, it’s worth every cent!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought kitchen aid because it was a name brand, I will never buy this brand again because of the appearance I pointed it out to the delivery people they said it was insulation and all of them are like this there is also a defect right under the hinge on the right upper side

Do not buy this piece of junk. Constant problems

This refrigerator is a complete piece of garbage. 1 week after purchase ice machine quits working. Takes over 2 weeks to get parts from Jetsons (rip off dealer) Then freezer door starts leaking water , Jetsons then says it needs a new door. Try to bring back to Jetsons for new unit and they will not take it back. Now there is a loud noise (cold water dripping on hot pan) coming from bottom of fridge. Drawers slide horribly , and are made from thin plastic.Unit is poorly put together at factory , crooked lights and switches , doors are also misaligned. This unit is 1 month old and should be thrown off a cliff. Kitchenaid has also refused to replace the unit. I had the previous model last 10 years and this piece of junk is the direct replacement. Kitchenaid should be embarrassed in the quality they build appliances now. This is supposed to be top of the line and it is far from anything good. Stay away from this unit and Kitchenaid. Minus 5 stars for quality and customer service.

Regret Buying this Fridge

I’ve owned this refrigerator for two months, and it’s by far the worst appliance I’ve ever had. The design and functionality are completely inadequate for a family of four—or anyone, really.
The shelves feel cheap and flimsy, and the drawers are a nightmare. They don’t pull out all the way without tipping forward, thanks to the poorly designed shelving above. The interior space is so poorly thought out that even storing basic groceries is a challenge. A bag of apples and a bag of baby carrots in the produce drawer completely maxes out the space, leaving no room for anything else.
To make matters worse, there’s a column running up the back center of the fridge that cuts the drawers to half the depth of the fridge. The shelves are already short due to the door shelves, which seem like an afterthought. Speaking of the door, it needs one more shelf to make the most of the limited space. The built-in wine rack is another frustration—it takes up a significant portion of the shelf below it. After the first month, we removed it and will probably just throw it away.
Every grocery trip ends in frustration as I try to figure out how to make groceries fit into this poorly designed space. This fridge makes me angry every time I use it. I deeply regret ever purchasing it and would not recommend it to anyone.

No Warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I get ice from the ice dispenser then get metered water from the water dispenser the light under the display panel will not go out. KitchenAid came out but was not able to fix it. They refused to go any farther with the excuse that because the refrigerator is not on a dedicated outlet it is not covered by their warranty. I haven't seen a builder yet that puts a dedicated outlet for the refrigerator. The repair guy agreed that they came up with that excuse so they don't have to fix it. Maybe it's a glitch and they all do it, try yours to see if you have the same problem. I should have listened when I was told that KitchenAid will go to extreme measures to get out of a warranty repair. I read the warranty and could not find anywhere it says you have to have a dedicated outlet.
