Lacks space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first one arrived in August....we had 3 service calls because frost was building up behind the vegetable drawers. The technicians were horrible. Finally, they replaced it. It's been running fine, but there's really not a ton of space on the refrigerator side...it's just the way it is with a side by side. I realize we don't freeze things as much, and probably should have gone with the bottom freezer. Let's hope this one keeps on working!

Beautiful exterior!

But when you do there are plenty of shelves and drawers in both the refrigerator and sides. I prefer a side by side. Lots of extra features for ice and water from front door. Also has the signature handles by Kitchenaid

Aethetically applealing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the additional space I have in the freezer vs my former French door model. The organization of items is easy. I wish there was an egg cradle. I also do not need a wine rack as I have a wine fridge. It would be nice to have that extra space. I also think an interior temp monitor would be prudent.

Mutual Christmas gift!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to replace our 27 cu ft 19 year old KAid fridge with this new counter depth 25 cu ft KAid as our Christmas gift to each other. Many new features on the new model; definitely keeps vegetables fresher longer, temps are more easily controlled in both freezer and refrigerator, LED lighting does a much better job of illuminating the interior, and the ice maker in the door yields more freezer space than in the old unit.. While the counter depth size looks better in the kitchen, the smaller interior is definitely noticed with the reduced storage space. Also, would like to see a couple more shelves in the blank space on the refrigerator door. This would help utilize interior space. Unit runs very quiet. Energy rating is better than the old unit, but have not had a chance to monitor usage yet.

So far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only been 1 week but mostly happy with the purchase. Bought to replace a 14 year old Kitchenaid model which was starting to die. The exterior dimensions are the same but there seems to be more interior space. My favourite feature is that the doors have a great hinge mechanism which means they don’t run into our corner pantry anymore.
He reason for dropping 1 star is that I am not a big fan of the water dispenser, which feels like it needs a lot of force to dispense water. It’s not a deal breaker- maybe something we need to get used to.
