[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this model recently and discovered that the ice maker would not make ice, was checked out by a technician and subsequently replaced with the same model. Overall very pleased with the replacement. I would suggest greater emphasis on quality control before it leaves the manufacturer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this after my original 24 year old Kitchen Aid stopped making ice. I thought I would be getting a better version of that original model, since I assumed that after 24 years they would have improved. Boy was i wrong. Materials are cheap-the shelves and drawers are not nearly as well made,and the ice maker is terrible. Makes small cubes,and is super loud and clunky when dispensing them.They did improve the lighting inside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the same Kitchenaid refrigerator for 13 years and loved it. We bought the new one and came to find out that although it is the "same" model, only newer and the same size on the outside, it is MUCH smaller on the inside. Very difficult to fit the same amount of items in the new refrigerator as the old refrigerator. The shelf's have smaller space both in height and depth. The storage drawers are smaller and the shelfs on the insdie of the doors are smaller. We are incredibly disappointed.

Poor quality

Poorly made. I bought this refrigerator in January 2020 and it stoped cooling to the correct temperature after under five years. I had someone replace the fan but it is still having issues. Frost build up and not cooling sufficiently. A refrigerator shouldn’t have these issues after less than 5 years. The inside drawers are poorly made and break easily as well. I would not recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been an avid fan KitchenAid fan for years and have a problem. I did not hesitate to add the costly KitchenAid upgrade package to my new Pulte home given my great KitchenAid experiences. My 25-year-old like new KitchenAid refrigerator in my garage is unbeatable like many others left behind. The Pulte dishwasher, beverage fridge, oven, microwave and cooktop are all excellent. The big problem is my counter depth refrigerator! This model is not even close to KitchenAid standards or mine for that matter. The problem “so far” is the shelving. On the first day a lower pullout bin fell-down when I touched it. I couldn’t get it back in and three others have unsuccessfully tried to reinstall it. There is an obvious problem with the track. Additionally other shelves do not glide easily, fit too loosely, making them feel extremely cheesy. The shelf that fell is sitting in my pantry. I need to get with KitchenAid but moving from another state takes its toll on your time. I will likely sell it if the shelf track can be repaired. Don't know what to do if it can't be repaired. A prior LG had been great, don’t know much about Samsung. This fridge is attractive and does its job, but the unconscionably poor shelving implementation is so disappointing. I know KitchenAid will reject my review. I loved KitchenAid in the past, I just had to let you know. I will call for service first chance I get. KitchenAid is much better than this…

Poor customer service

I misplaced my user manuals (I bought a Kitchen 4 piece package), and have contacted Kitchenaid multiple times asking for new hardcopies and was told I would receive them in 2 weeks. They never came. I followed up and then was told they would get more in about 3 months. After following up again with customer service, I never received them. Poor customer service, I’m glad I haven’t had a repair request.
