Needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer cold air vents can easily be blocked by food. Decent space. Wish the icemaker storage was bigger. Worst thing about the unit is the quality of the drawers.

Manufacturing defect

This is my 1st KitchenAid refrigerator. There is clicking noise coming when closing the freezer door. I don’t know if it’s a manufacturing defect.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good box, but the drawers are a problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity, exterior appearance and cooling performance of the refigerator are good. The drawer supports and drawers are terrible. I have already had to have warranty replacements for four drawer guides so,far and will need replacement upper drawer as well as it just broke. The lower two drawers do not have double rollers and do not operate smoothly. The upper drawer has double rollers and does operate smoothly. We’re so far very disappointed with the quality of the drawers and drawer tracks and based on our experience so far, have little confidence that they will last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price we paid, this refrigerator fit the bill. The drawers are inexpensive and tinny. Not substantial. The freezer door came with a dent that will take 6 weeks or more to replace. The space is adequate and we can fit everything needed inside. The no fingerprint doors are great.

Wonderful Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Side by Side is just beautiful inside and out—print shield is remarkable—truly finger print free with minimal care. The counter depth looks built in and is a space saver in my small U-shaped kitchen. We can see all of our foods at a glance and no longer have to dig in the bottom freezer to find things. The ice maker in the door is great since it allows for more freezer space. My food last longer with the Preserve Food Care System –(not a much wasted fruits or vegetables). The water dispenser is wonderful—love the measure water fill feature. It’s so quiet we no longer hear ice being made like our old Samsung. Just love everything about this refrigerator—we are so glad we purchased Kitchen Aide products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this after reading review after review on all refrigerators , i had the same size kitchen aid 18 years ago and loved it ! kitchen aid is now owned by whirl pool i be leave , my old fridge still worked but ice maker went out and was not able to be repaired due to valve solenoid no longer available it was a great fridge ! so we got this one , yes every one complained about how noisy it was making ice ! guess what they all make noise when it is filling the ice ben ! once its full its not bad as it refills the ice does not have as far to drop ,it works well, some say the ice dispenser dumps ice all over the floor ? yes if you are a idiot, you have to hold the cup up high enough to funnel all the ice into your glass, this is much easer that the old fashion way with ice trays ! some people must not no how it used to be . the water valve it self is a little loud but no louder that you turning your sink on for water , yes my old fridge was quieter on dispensing water , still not a issue works well, and i like the easy water filter replacement cartridges. for some reason the new fridge is a bit smaller inside yet has the same sq ft as my old one and as everyone states it could have come with one extra shelf in the door it is needed and there is so much wasted space there it looks like they just forgot to give you one , you would think if they read these reviews they make changes to better there product. the refrigerator compressor is quiet all in all its a good fridge it is not noisy . if it last half as long as my old one i will be happy good fridge for the price.

Feature rich counter depth

The cubic feet was similar and slightly less then the Samsung, but once we loaded it with food, we find it actually feels like it has more space than the Samsung.
