Alarms need better definitions

We experienced an alarm on the third day we had the dishwasher. The alarm echoed around the kitchen and we had to call our maintenance man to define that the dishwasher was actually the appliance issuing the alarm. There was no reason given.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LONG Cycle times and door doesn't open properly

We had 2 of the GDF645SMNES dish washers. They have really really long cycle times, sometimes up to 2+ hours depending on options selected. Additionally 1 of the 2 has issues with the door opening and closing. It opens much further then the other. Also on that same washer, the bottom left "wheels" for the bottom rack keeps falling off. One other observation, when standing at the counter in front of the dish washers, the buttons continually get bumped, they are too sensitive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello - Thanks for your review. It is normal for some dishwashers to run for up to two hours or more under certain conditions and on certain models. Dishwashers now run longer to ensure good wash performance, but they use less energy while running.

Slow but sure

Even the 1 hr cycle takes well over two hours if you use boost on drying. Other cycles take even longer. We found it difficult to learn the new loading pattern and the upper level does not keep glasses from sliding. We love that you can wash a full load or a half load in either the upper or lower levels. Cleans very well - no need to rinse before placing items in the machine.

My dishes have never been so clean

My old dishwasher never dried the dishes well. I always had to dry them with a towel before putting them away and air dry the glasses. Very pleased with my new dishwasher.

so quiet do not even hear it running. Insulation with easy just make sure you buy all new hoses.
