Pretty Loud

We purchased this to replace the exact same one that only lasted 3 years. Hoping this one with the steel tub lasts longer. Had yo have the installer come back because it was so very loud. He said GE hadn’t sent a noise reduction cover like they usually do. He was able to salvage and use the cover from our old machine and that has helped.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Door does not shut

Had my dishwasher installed this morning. Took less than 30 minutes. I was busy working virtually and when I went in on my lunch I loaded the dishwasher and the door would not shut. It is not flush. It is hitting on the right upper side. I called and left a message with the installer and naturally the have not returned my call. How do they not check this before they leave. These are GE certified installer. So once again without a dishwasher.

Hi, Thanks for your purchase! We're so sorry your dishwasher door is not closing properly. If the dishwasher was not installed correctly, we suggest that you contact the installer to reinstall. The warranty on the dishwasher does not cover installation issues. The dishwasher must be aligned in the cabinet so it does not interfere with the closing of the door, and it must also be leveled properly. Quiet and efficient.

Overall I am pleased with my purchase. It is quiet and seems to clean the dishes well. Only downfall is I wish the dish racks were made better. The dish rack seem a bit flimsy but they work ok.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have a new microwave!

My former microwave was 28 years old. Still worked but I could only enter 1-5 minutes, no longer and no seconds, only minutes. It also did not have a turn table.
WOW - I feel like I hit the jackpot with my beautiful new GE microwave. The buttons/features are easy to understand.

Don't like the ski runners

I purchased a brand new home so this dishwasher came with the house. I do not like the ski runner for the bottom rack. I would prefer more of a wheel or track. The ski runner seems to require more effort to pull and push the rack in/out. I struggle to use the dishwasher efficiently based on the wire racks and what I am trying to wash, especially bowls on the top rack. Plates on the bottom rack tend to tip over. I have to use the high dry setting for the items to dry as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Convenient wash options.

Quiet (doesn’t wake the baby) and spacious. Never leaves residue on glasses. Con; the “flip up/down” utensil holders on the top rack tend to flip down randomly and aren’t tightly set when flipped up.
