GE continues with quality

This product is replacing a unit that lasted 12 years. So far the new model has performed well. While I have not run all wash modes the features I have used are great. I am pleased with the low noise level. To be completely honest, I have to point out item, that is not completely a con, but are the only detractor I can find after 3 days use... less than half star so. Buttons are placed such that when opening or closing, if not locked, are easily pushed. Solution - trained myself to push door closed at edges or lock the buttons. I am hoping this model will last me the 12 years as well.

Love the look

We purchased this dishwasher because it didn't have a handle and matched our other slate GE appliances. I love the look of it. The buttons when brushed up against are extremely sensitive but when you push them to start a load take a second to initiate a response. The button panel is so flat you can't feel where you are supposed to press. The dishwasher is extremely quiet which is a huge plus. I also love the jets up on top for glasses and how it keeps the silverware upright and seperated for better cleaning. The con would be the wash cycle. A 1 hour wash with the dry boost is actually 164 minutes. Seems very long. This replaced a unit that was about 15 years old so it's been wonderful having something updated.

First brand new GE Dishwasher ever!!

I was tired of trying to find used dishwasher units that would "get me by". So I decided to break down and purchase a new unit. The GE model that I selected had all of the features that I needed. The stainless steel door is sturdy! The unit washes great and is relatively quiet. I do agree with other reviews that the front mounted touch screen is super sensitive but one gets used to it. All-in-all, I am very satisfied with my purchase and look forward to many years of service free living!!

Very quiet and dishes are clean and dry

The dishwasher works great. The selection of cleaning options is all I should ever need. Since the rack configuration is quite different from our previous one, it took a bit to get used to it. I think the new one can actually hold more. I really like that this dishwasher is so quiet.

It seems like an efficent and very quiet machine. The wheels on the lower dish tray are not very will engineered. The plastic wheels fall off and melt on the heating element.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stylish, Quiet and Cleans/Sanitizes Well

This was installed 3 weeks ago. Was missing three wheels off the bottom rack which I believe came off during shipping/delivery. Called customer service and am still waiting for wheels to be delivered. The dishwasher itself is very quiet compared to old GE dishwasher it replaced. I can barely hear it when it is on. Have not use all the features, like the bottle washers yet. Looks very nice in the kitchen and cleans very well so far. Pleased so far and would recommend this model. Will be happy when missing parts are received.
