Absolute disaster

The dishwasher does not clean the utensils at all. Dirty dishes in dirty dishes out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features!

I am happy to have this new dishwasher. The electronic controls are on the front for easy access and they are easy to operate. This dishwasher runs very quietly. It got my dishes clean

Very quiet

This dishwasher replaces my original GE from 27 years ago which was still working fine. I only own GE Appliances in the house. Pros: As for the operation of the unit, everything was as expected and described. The unit is very quiet and the dual water steams make it efficient to clean. My cons are the construction of the door panel. The stainless steel door skin panel is easily flexed when pushed in as there is no support from behind as seen when the service tech from GE showed and unable to create a fix. The control panel will drip condensation down the front of the door when in use with the steam and high heat functions as there is no seal to prevent it. Otherwise, I am happy with this new dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice basic dishwasher

Doubts relieved....

I'm not a GE fan but this machine was highly recommended. After a rocky start (when the control board locked up with the first wash and nothing the factory recommended as a fix corrected it), somehow it fixed itself and it seems to be working flawlessly since. The rinse aid fill takes rinse aid slowly and it's hard to figure out when it's full but that could be my issue. It works/cleans dishes well, dries plastics and although a little more noisy than my Kenmore, still pretty quiet. So far (a month into the machines use) I'm relatively happy with it and would recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
