Not bad. Love the stainless steel interior

Love the stainless steel interior, all my prior dishwashers were plastic tub. I love this utensil tray cause my prior dishwasher had one that just didn't fit spoons at all, their holes were much smaller. Here it is the right size. Now the only 2 things troublesome in the installing was 1) all those trim pieces for the too and left/right side. I gave up trying to fit with those on so I installed without them. Much easier to push in gently and fit it under the counter. 2) I notice that the legs on the bottom would bent a bit, so to me the bracket at the bottom of the dishwasher should be strengthen so it doesn't bend as much. Otherwise so far it's working fine.

Nice looking but failed after 2 months use

We purchased this dishwasher in December and by Febuary it stopped working. We had to call GE and have it serviced. They replaced a defective pump.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front controls not great

The dishwasher does a great job cleaning dishes. I got the front controls and do not like them. It accidently turns on when I walk by, but when I try to change settings it does not respond at all.
Frustrated with the controls, almost enough to replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

THE DW IS CONSTRUCTED WITH INADEQUATE MATERIALS RESULTING IN A WEAK STRUCTURE.. FOR INSTANCE THE DOOR IS EASILY TWISTED AND CAN AT TIME NOT LATCH PROPERLY REQUIREING LINING UP OF THE LATCH PARTS MAMUALY. THE BOTTOM TRAY EASILY FALLS OFF ITS TRACK OFTEN LOADED WITH DISHES REQUIRING AN INCONVENIENT REFITTING. AND THE WATER DELIVERY TUBE ON THE TOP RACK FALLS OFF WITH LITTLE PROVACATION REQUIRING THE RACK BE EMPTIED AND THE TUBE RESET IN ITS INADEQUTE RESTRANTS.. MOST HOUSEHOLD USERS FIND THE CONTROLS HARD TO MANAGE.. THEY ARE NOT INTUITIVE.

This dish washer doesn’t clean near as well as the 20 year old washer we had. The dishes must be rinsed very well before washing, if not they don’t get clean. It looks nice though. I will never buy GE Appliances again. To expensive for the quality we paid for!

Vinyl covered trays are a plus and their high sides hold glasses& dishwater securely. Removable flatware basket also a plus.
The only negative is the wiring located in the front corner that requires longer power cable.

Easy to use and maintain

I personally like the filter, it is easy to remove and clean. its quiet. The only downfall is that its hard to know when it is done. I'm use to having a little light at the bottom.
