Looks nice but not quite

It looks nice until you have smudges and water drops on it. It doesn't wipe these away easily. I guess I have to now buy the special cleaner for stainless steel.

Looks nice, but minor issues detract

This GE dishwasher replaces our 13 year old Kenmore Elite, probably made by Whirlpool. I'm guessing our former dishwasher was higher end where this GE is more basic. Main concerns are a needlessly narrow silverware tray (aim far right and it loads up quickly), and the wheels on the lower rack slide poorly (almost drags) when the rack is loaded with dishes. We bought a GE because the insides looked similar to our Kenmore, and it required one inch less of clearance under the counter, which we desperately needed. On the plus side, it is quiet, fits a lot of glasses/dishes, and really looks nice. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but find the skinny silverware tray and poorly designed wheels on the lower rack truly annoying. Not sure if a higher end model would address this, but worth looking at.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very quiet and great appearance. Would have liked an option to air dry, but cannot turn off "dry boost".
