Very quiet.

This dishwasher is very quiet, hardly know it’s running. The front touch panel is very sensitive....you can just brush by it and buttons light up. I am an older person, so to me the older machines are less complicated. This machine has a lock feature that is great if you have young children around, but can be a nuisance otherwise. Loved my old GE and it held glasses and plates better, though this one is roomier. I do like the stainless steel tub.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cleans well

Our new washer cleans our dishes well and is very quiet. We replaced a unit that was 26 years old and there is a noticable improvement in design and engineering. Our only regret is not buying a unit with discrete control buttons. Our machine has flush, membrane type buttons that make it difficult to find just the right place to push. We also would have liked some sort of countdown timer that would display the time remaining in the wash cycle. All of these options were available to us, we just did not know how much we would appreciate them.

I have had GE dishwashers (3 total) over the past 36 years. What else can I say, the product has served me well and it does what a dishwasher is supposed to do; gets my dishes clean!

Not a good purchase

The machine itself is so poorly made compared to our Bosch dishwasher. Flimsy door, strange rack layout. It’s never clear if it even starts. The dials are so confusing. It’s super loud when it’s running too.

Does not work

We had the dishwasher installed by a professional. It has not worked the first bit. We have called a licensed GE repair company with no luck. This has been going on for a month.

Easy operation;

I use the washer daily to become familiar with the washer; washing large items such as new pots and pans and dishes. Using more dishes daily due to CORONA VIRUS, to minimize spreading of germs.

This is by far the best dishwasher I’ve ever had. It cleans well, and the control panel is so easy to use. Every time my husband loads or unloads, he exclaims how much he loves it.
