Best dishwasher ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hands down the best dishwasher we have ever owned! We have had this dishwasher for about 2 to 3 weeks now and love it so much. We are a family of four so we have a lot of dishes throughout the day and with my old dishwasher I had to rinse everything almost scrubbing them before placing in dishwasher to have clean dishes. But with the Cafe GE dishwasher I can literally just put my dishes in and they come out sparkling! I love the presoak and sanitize feature as well. Also another favorite feature is that you can move the top rack down to allow more room and you can adjust the racks to accommodate larger dishes. I never thought we would find a dishwasher that cleans as well as this one. So happy with our purchase and can’t recommend it enough.

Looks Great and is Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dishwasher to replace another GE brand dishwasher. Overall, the interior is identical. My favorite interior feature is the four jet sprays that has clips to keep tall glasses or baby bottles in place so the jets can get all the way to the bottom to clean the glasses/bottles. I use that feature every wash. I also like that you can select if you want to run the full dishwasher or just the top rack or bottom rack. Saves water and money! The drying on the dishwasher is great. My dishes always come out dry, which I have had a problem with in prior dishwashers. The bottom rack is adjustable based on how you need to sort your items (plates, large pans, etc.). The silverware holder is removable so you can take the clean silverware over to your drawer for easy unloading. I like the individual slots for the silverware - makes for easy sorting. The only drawback is the full cleaning cycle takes over 3 hours to complete. However, the dishwasher is quiet so I don’t mind that it is running. I love the exterior - it is clean and sleek with the top controls being hidden under the countertop. You do have to press the buttons prior to shutting the dishwasher door, but that is just something to get used to. The exterior handle is strong and has a rose gold detail on it - which I don’t love, but it doesn’t bother me. Wish it was just regular gold. Overall, I am very happy with this dishwasher.

I had a 14 year old dishwasher that had broken and my home warranty offered to replace it with this model here. I have enjoyed having it so far. It runs quietly, smoothly, and efficiently. The features are pretty modern too. Which is nice.

The stainless shows fingerprints more than I would like.
The touch panel is super sensitive and I often touch them when opening and closing the dishwasher then the sensors get kind of bossy and start beeping at me.
The express mode has shown H2O signal right from the get-go so I need to have a tech come out as soon as it was installed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The standard cycle is 3 hours 6 minutes. The express cycle is only a few minutes less. Other than that it works as well as any DW I’ve ever used. It’s pretty quiet and I love the look.

Who knew you could fall in love with a dishwasher?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE Café Dishwasher is a luxury item. It looks stunning in my kitchen – stainless steel, sleek and modern. The controls are hidden under the countertop and are all touch screen. There is a digital display which will tell you how long the particular cycle and options you choose will take to run. The time can vary from 1 hour for “Express” to up to 5 hours if you choose every option available with the most powerful wash cycle “Pots.” My favorite feature is the bottle jets with the clips. On the top rack, there are four jets that you have the option to have on or off during the cycle. Each jet also has a clip so you could put baby bottles on them, or tall water bottles, basically any long item that can be hard to clean. The clips hold the item in place while the jet washes the inside. I wish I had this when my kids were babies. Cleaning and sanitizing bottles would have been so much easier. Did I mention there is specifically a setting for sanitizing? This is every new Mom’s dream dishwasher.
My second favorite feature: the drying cycle. There is an “Ultra” option which will definitely add time to your cycle (an extra hour or two), but my plates and bowls are not soaking wet when they come out. Plus, I usually run it overnight, so the timing doesn’t bother me at all. It helps with hard to dry items. Now, if the top of your cup is indented and has a pool of water, don’t expect it to dry that, but it certainly helps on most items that I have in there.
The racks are adjustable. The top rack has built in stemware shelf that can be folded up if you aren’t using it. The bottom rack allows you to actually fold down rows to fit specific items that you’re washing. The silverware basket is removable and can actually be broken down into three sections if you don’t want all of it in there at once or need more space.
Overall, the dishwasher is incredibly quiet and doesn’t put a lot of heat out in my kitchen. I’m over the moon happy with it and I’ve received so many compliments on it from friends and family. The Café line by GE is top notch.
