Brand new CDT800 model and sooo high pitched noisy

We have had GE dishwasher for 12 years and just broke.
Bought brand new CDt 800 model amd running on normal wash with both upper and lower level areas selected and it is surprisingly very high pitched loud at beginning of cycle and consistently throughout loud. Annoying high pitch throughout wash sound. Disappointing that a brand new 2022 dishwasher model is louder than our 12 year old previous GE cafe model. What is your quietest GE cafe model currently offered? We have other cafe appliances and wanted to get it all matched. What is this high pitch sound and does it exist in your other cafe models?

Good Dishwasher - Has a Heating Element

I had bought an LG Dishwasher to replace my previous GE Profile that had a door issue that kept it from starting. The LG was nice but they stopped making them with heating elements and they do not dry well no matter what their ads say. Anything plastic including the third rack stayed wet for days if left inside the dishwasher. I do not think that technology is ready yet.
So I bought this one. I like the look of it. It looks classy and it works well and it dries the dishes and the plastic racks inside the dishwasher. My only critique, which has been the case with all my recent dishwashers, is that they do not have a true 'Hot Start' function which used to be common. It does take the water a little while to get hot enough to wash greasy items but it does eventually get hot and the dishes get mostly clean.
Oh, and it has a disposal which I like. Yes it makes a little noise at the beginning of the cycle when the disposal is operating but, I would rather have the noise then have to clean out a filter several times a month. The LG was quieter but had not disposal and you were supposed to clean out the filter every few weeks. I would rather have the dishwasher take care of that itself. I would buy this product again. Thank you.

The washer itself seems to work fine, is fairly quiet, and cleans well. Only issues were broken rack pieces right out of the box, and you have to buy additional parts to hook up water line. It tells you that you need a 90 degree connection, but it's not supplied.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great dishwasher

Have had the dishwasher for a few weeks. So far so good. Easy to install. Only complaint is the bottom tray that holds dishes and silverware just slides out on the door. Would be better if it had sliding hardware that was attached to the wall. Kind of cheap for the price.

This dishwasher is excellent. Easy to use, great space, and flexibility to move racks around to accommodate dishes of all shapes and sizes. Plus cleans with very little pre-rinse.
I would recommend this to a friend!
