This model touts the jets that blast away food on utensils, all I can say is it baked on food it didn’t wash off.

Buyer Beware
on March 9, 2022

BUYER BEWARE...We recently remodeled our kitchen and purchased four GE appliances. The dishwasher (Model PDT775SYN3FS) is very quiet but has never worked properly. We rinse the dishes before they go in. At the end of the cycle, the dishes are not clean, the dishes are not dry, there is water in the bottom, most of detergent pods do not dissolve and if when we use a liquid dishwasher detergent, most of detergent can be found in the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. This dishwasher does not do what it was purchased to do.
A GE technician came out three times since November. Nothing was determined to be wrong with the dishwasher. It was initially determined that the water was not hot enough going into the dishwasher. At our expense, we had a circulating pump installed to keep hot water circulating in the hot water line, so it has less opportunity to cool off due to distance from the hot water heater. We still have the same problem. We run the hot water before starting the dishwasher and the water coming out of the faucet is 120+ degrees. However, the water going into the dishwasher (2 foot away) is much less. The technician did not understand why the water going in is not hotter. The dishwasher does have a heating element, but it is not exposed. Even though there are Temp Boost features on the dishwasher, they do not seem to help with the problem we are having.
Your salesperson said the dishwasher should work in my application. The technical guy thinks I need a dishwasher with an exposed heating element in my application. The warranty people say it is not a warranty problem since there is nothing found defective in the dishwasher. What I know is I paid good money for a new dishwasher and still have dirty dishes. We have been patient in working with GE to resolve the issue, but months later, the issue remains.

Hello. We appreciate you reaching out about this situation, though we truly hate to hear you’ve had issues with the dishwasher not getting your dishes clean, not dissolving detergent, etc. We know this must be frustrating to deal with, and it’s certainly not the quality ownership experience we want for you.

The temperature of the water used is indeed essential for making sure the dishwasher performs well, and we regret the inconvenience you’ve had with trying to keep your water hot enough. After reviewing our system, we do see you have been in contact with our specialists and have a case assigned to you. We have updated that case with the information you left in this review, to ensure the specialists have all the information needed to assist. They will be reviewing this as soon as possible.

We hope this matter is resolved for you soon, so you can enjoy your dishwasher without any further trouble. We truly appreciate you as a loyal GE consumer, and are always available to assist if you have any other concerns or questions. -Sarah@GEA

Seems nice but…

Seems like a nice unit, but the latch refuses to catch and can’t get the unit to start. Keeps indicating the door is open. We are now 8 weeks without a functioning dishwasher and no one to repair it under warrenty. Too bad a minor design flaw can make it unusable.
