Very quiet, but not made as well as our previous dishwasher (kitchen aid).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a fantastic dishwasher. So many features …easy to use controls. Washes and dries perfect.and it is SO QUIET. I literally cannot tell is running.

worked once then died

I was only able to use it 1 time. Then 1 or 2 (still to be determined) control boards failed. second attempt at the repair is next week 10/21. Bought it in early September.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
